Licensed FFL Transfer Services
Down Range, LLC is a federally licensed firearms dealer serving Western Maryland. We process all transfers quickly, professionally, and in full compliance with federal and state law.
What Is an FFL Transfer?
When you purchase a firearm from an online retailer or out-of-state dealer, federal law requires the firearm to be shipped to a local Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) dealer. We receive the firearm, verify your identity, complete the required ATF Form 4473, and process the NICS background check before releasing it to you.
NFA items include suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), and other Title II firearms. Contact us for details on any NFA transfer.
Before you order online — talk to us first.
We would rather put the firearm you want directly in your hands. Tell us what you are looking for and we will do our best to beat the price, match it, or at minimum knock the shipping cost off so you come out ahead. If we cannot make the numbers work, we will be straight with you — order it online and simply pay our transfer fee when it arrives. Either way, you win. Reach out before you buy and we will figure it out together.
